Malaysian rain: Button's gain, Ferrari's pain

Post by Ross on 5th April 2009, 16:31

So the Malaysian Grand Prix was pretty interesting?

I don't see why people are so annoyed about the race having been shortened - it's safety, and the speculation made it interesting.

I liked it, I thought it was a really good race.

Ferrari were dicks for making such an obviously ridiculous choice of tyres. I'm glad they scored no points, they deserved that.

I think that all this yelling and screaming about Twilight races has nothing to do with the race being shortened.
It's rain... it does happen at various times of day, there's not exactly much we can do about it...

I see your point, although locals that were asked said they thought staging it later was 'mad' because of this reason exactly - if it rains in Malaysia, it's more likely to rain in the evening. Rain + late start time = very poor visibility. It's dangerous.
